What a fabulous afternoon!

Hi everyone!

This afternoon was FABULOUS!

I was able to finish work and I had a “mosey” over to Whitehall Galleries (in Stratford-upon-Avon).  I was afraid I would be late, but fortunately, I made it in time.

For What? (you probably are wondering)

Artist Jen Allen is featured this weekend. Her artist opening at the gallery was today.  I was fortunate to be able to talk to her for about 2 minutes.

You can find her on Facebook by clicking here.

So … that was pretty cool … to me 🙂

AFTERWARDS…

I walked further down Sheep Street in Stratford.

There… you can find… a lovely little tea room 🙂

The Fourteas Tea Room

This place is a really happy place! All of the employees are dressed in 1940s dress.  The guys and the girls, both.  And they have all the old posters on the walls.  And when you order a pot of tea and an scone, you get a little timer too. And you have to wait for the glass sand timer to finish, and it is about a 5 minute timer. Because the tea is steeping. After the timer finishes, then I took the tea leaves out of the pot, because it will make it really strong if you don’t.

The owner of the Fourteas and her husband also works there. She told me it is best if you book ahead, because when I went, it was PACKED. BUT somehow, there was an empty seat. 😀

I can’t wait to return!

So when you visit Stratford-upon-Avon, I highly recommend The Fourteas Tea room.

What a great day it turned out to be 🙂
