Painting and progress today
I have been painting today, and I have made some progress on it. I am pleased how it's going. If you check my calendar page, the Arts in Redditch organization is putting on an exhibition in November. And if you are from Redditch or surrounding areas, I am inviting you to come have a look at all the art and jewelry and crafts that are going to be there. It will be in the Kingfisher shopping centre between WHSmith and VisionExpress shops. My painting today is a big 28"x20" pastel painting on Canson pastel paper.

I started out with this painting doing something totally different than the normal way I paint. I decided to start with the painting the light colors first. Usually in pastel painting, you paint the darkest darks first.
