I feel I am at about 50% of my artist potential. (or NOT). It will take a while to get back into the swing as I have been away from art for so long, I am very out of practice.
Practice, practice practice!
I have some other ideas for paintings soon. It is nice to do black and white paintings, I love them so much! They are my favorite art to paint!
The paintings I do of the 20s and 30s, art deco age, are so much fun!
This painting started out fun, but the more I worked with it, the more frustrating it was. So I just hurried through it, there were things I could not fix on it, so I just decided to finish it, and maybe try it again sometime.
There was quite a bit of detail in this, and I think I may have to just go back to basics.
I hope other artists out there have a better time than I have with this painting.
This painting is #14 today on Leslie Saeta’s painting challenge
That is all for now, thank you for dropping by, I appreciate you all!

She is wonderful Cindy! I say, step away for awhile, and come back to it. Love her expression. I love that time period in the movies. So much fun 🙂
Thanks Sheila, i am going to get some more of these done, I am going to be in an exhibition with other artists, so I am looking through lots of my photos for inspiration 🙂
I agree with Sheila – step away for a few days. I think she looks pretty good but understand that sometimes our work doesn’t match our vision. Maybe a few days away will help.
Thanks Val, I am listening to you both 🙂
