A “comparison”

I did a comparison searching Google for images “similar” to my art from Jan 26th post.  (Suggested by Sea Dean).

What happened was strange…

These were some of the “similar ” images:

  1. Hi Cindy. I like the first one best. I took a look at the other images and it has interestingly pulled up mainly drawings, which is quite clever of the algorhythm. I use it to find better versions of a masterpiece I want to paint, or to check if anyone is copying my work which is more for amusement than worrying about it. I reckon I was thinking of you searching with your inspiration photo, not your painting which may bring up similar photos or paintings.

  2. I don’t think I can post images here, but I’ve sent you some images of what came to mind when I saw your pastel.

  3. Interesting display. I don’t think there were many pics there that actually compare to your work as most of them are just portrait studies. Your work evokes a feeling of nostalgia as it portrays a bygone era that we only know through film and photos of the past. It is dramatic and bold and quite different from the normal portrait work.

I love all my Readers! Thank you for your kind comments :)
